Best Western Plus Newport Mesa Inn

We have stayed at Hilton Hotels, Marriott’s, etc. I was pleasantly surprised at Best Western’s hospitality. Clean rooms, nice beds, and super friendly staff. We will stay again!

I'm high maintenance when it comes to staying in hotels so I was surprised when a friend recommended Best Western as I always associated it with 'substandard' compared to Marriotts, Hiltons and other high end hotels. However, I was floored by the attention to detail, cleanliness, room accomodations and patience of the staff answering all my questions. I have traveled worldwide and this Best Western was THE BEST hotel experience I have ever had. For less than half the cost of the higher end hotels I mentioned, I have found my new home away from home.

One of the main reasons I continue to stay here is because of a gentleman named Norm who works the front desk. Norm is without a doubt a consummate professional who takes exceptional care of his guests. To be honest with you, I wouldn’t stay here if it wasn’t for Norm. People like him belong in the service industry and go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is top notch from start to finish. Give this man a raise. The hotel itself is generally solid. The rooms are exceptionally clean, the linens are decent, the beds are very comfortable, the amenities are above average for a hotel of this caliber and overall, the place is run well. It can get noise if you’re facing the 55 but there are plenty of rooms that keep the peace and give you a good nights rest. The coffee machine is a highlight, plenty of snacks and beverages are available at the front desk mini mart, parking is plentiful and free, the breakfast nook is decent but nothing to write home about. The cleaning staff are on point. A solid place.

I'm traveling for work and needed a hotel close to the airport, and this Best Western fit the bill. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel is - from the lobby to the rooms, it exceeded my expectations and had everything that is missing from hotel rooms these days. The staff is incredibly friendly, they have water and coffee in the lobby available, actual mugs in the room for your coffee in the morning and the rooms are recently remodeled and very clean. The free parking is a plus and the festive holiday decorations in the lobby are a nice touch as well.

I’ve stayed at BW’s all across the US and Mexico. This one has been the best one I have stayed at. I needed a hotel with reliable internet since I was in between homes and this location did not disappoint. Their internet speed was reliable and fast, I was able to work my regular shift and do all my usual calls while there. I stayed for 9 nights and slept very comfortably, without issues. Aside from the great internet, their staff was all very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and they provided anything you would need for a comfortable stay, including extra toiletries in the bathroom without asking for them. The only con is the fitness center, the treadmill was unusable and the elliptical was very noisy. Aside from that, I would definitely stay here again when visiting family in SoCal.

Excellent service, Excellent and very attentive crews,very clean rooms, Kay, the fine young lady at the front desk was very welcoming and attentive, Arlette, one of the house keepers made sure the room I stayed was spotless.. Kudos to management for hiring such fine fine crew. Definitely will return again. Thank you Best Western!! 5 STARS!!

We stayed here recently when visiting a conference at the OC fair right across the road. Brilliant location for our needs. The rooms were spacious, clean and tidy. The staff were welcoming and the general place had a good safe vibe about it. There was a breakfast included however there was only 4 warm options which was odd as there was a server putting it on your plate which was odd. The rest of the breakfast options were limited including yoghurt already put into small bowls and stored in the fridge..again a little odd but it was adequate for our needs. Would stay there again.

Our large extended family stayed at this hotel over three days and we were greatly impressed with the amazing staff who went above & beyond in helping us. They even offered us extra fridge space when we needed it. The property was immaculate and rooms were spacious. The cleaning service was great. The breakfast was good and the location was convenient for both walking and driving to many points of interest. We picked the right location for our family gathering.
